“Researchers from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, conducted a study published in the International Journal of Cancer in 2006, revealing that preschoolers who regularly ate French [sic] fries had an increased risk for breast cancer. In fact, researcher Dr. Karin Michels and colleagues estimated that a woman’s risk of breast cancer in later life increased by 27 percent for each additional serving of French fries per week that she ate as a preschooler.
